Album Notes
These folk/rock/country/blues/americana songs are haunting both lyrically and musically. James Kahn was first a writer, having penned many novels, novelizations (including Return of the Jedi), and television shows over the years (see his imdb.com and wikipedia pages for full resume). Here he combines his years of storytelling craft with melodies and harmonies reminiscent of a range of influences from the Everly Brothers and Simon and Garfunkle, to The Band and The Chieftans.

Backing him up are renowned fiddler GABE WITCHER (recently featured on the new Paul Simon album), JOHN McFEE of the Doobie Brothers on pedal steel, remarkable multi-instrumentalist DAVID WEST, singer/songwriter KATE WALLACE singing backup vocals, fabulous blues harpist TOM BALL, and other greats.

These beautiful songs made me laugh, made me cry, made me want to go hug my wife, they are great!

Just got the album and it is brilliant! I'm a pretty big fan of folk and folk/rock and this was right up my alley. Would definitely recommend to my friends!
