ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
James Smart, well known for his performances as Queen frontman Freddie Mercury, is also a seasoned tour entertainer performing his own songs, traditional Scottish music and classic pop hits through the decades to audiences from overseas and Europe. He is currently studying German as part of his Language Studies degree which has proven useful in his cabaret shows.

In February 2017, James joined forces with 4 of his singing friends to form a brand new vocal harmony group called 'ScotSoul' and take part in BBC1's fantastic new show 'Pitch Battle'. The group secured 3rd place in the LIVE final broadcast on BBC1.

James also featured on a British Academy award nominated documentary for BBC Scotland called "Viva Variety" and performed his debut song "Home Is Where The Heart Is" on BBC Newsnight back in 2014.

The new EP 'Scotland Forever' features the fun Scottish hit single 'Whit's Fur Ye'll No Go By Ye', 3 additional original tracks and a brand new 2017 version of 'Loch Lomond'. All of these songs and more are performed LIVE as part of his 'Flying Scotsman Show', currently on tour.
