Album Notes
Gypsy Traveller is the second release by Australia Folk Singer Songwriter Jane Laws.

Mandurah Mail 19th April 2001 Tasteful Selection from Jane Laws

... Finely crafted the music evokes an image of listening to the artist in an old pub with a log fire roaring in the middle of winter as the restful music soothes the soul.

Town Crier September/October 2001 Jane Laws - Gypsy Traveller reviewed by Rob Oats

We have some good talent in this state of ours and with this CD, another from Pocket Universe stable, we have a lay back acoustic album of mainly melancholy sonngs penned by Jane which bears this out. ... It is very easy to listen to and the words are very clear, a slightly breathy sound which falls very nicely on the ears. You get a feeling of sincerity and a lot of feeling in the songs, they have a life that has been lived. ...

Gypsy Traveller, great home-grown Aussie folk music
Jane Laws is a fine musician and a talented song writer with a flair for the Australian story, so seldom told in our own country. She brings to life stories of colonial days which are only recently receiving widespread recognition. This, combined with a lilting voice and songs of personal emotional experience and strength, show an emerging talent of note.
I have personally used Jane's music and songs in my films and documentaries and highly recommend her work to anyone seeking songs and music for that purpose. In all sincerity, Michael Jessop-Jolly
