ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Janitor is a ferris wheel of friends out of Brooklyn, NY. Janitor primarily consists of Katie Holliday, Inna Propriate, Davey Jones, Casey Jobin Weissbuch and Dan Francia though other players have been known to pop in. Inna and Katie started messin' around in a basement practice space last year for fun, hosting open-house type jam sessions coined "therapy" but within a few months things unexpectedly started to take shape. Before long the band started playing small gigs around New York and less than a year after forming they're making their musical debut with She Hates the Hits.

The album title "She Hates the Hits" stems from an inside joke, because Katie "hate the hits". All the songs are original, and born from a super collaborative environment. Tracks Anywhere and Russian Love Song are new renditions of songs Inna wrote years ago with her then band, Cuddles Kovinsky, while the other tracks are a mod-podge of stoner nights and journal entries. The band name itself pays homage to the Suburban Lawns song "Janitor" because it rules.
