ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
The punk rock influences were unavoidable for a guy raised in a concrete suburb named Angered outside of Gothenburg in Sweden. But after all lacking the rebellion fire in his post-puberty, Janne Saaristo longed for the stories describing what happens in life after you gave up avoiding to grow up. And thats where country music comes into the picture.

Kind of Angered is a dissection of all this. What formed me, and what came after that.

The album is mainly written, performed and produced by Janne Saaristo himself. Some covers appear, such as John Prine's Speed of the sound of loneliness and Woody Guthrie's She came along to me.

Before this solo-debut-album Janne Saaristo was a member of alt-country acts such as Escalator to nowhere and Hanif.
