this band is clean and crisp with syncopation and surprising but smooth rhythm transitions within their songs. not heavy on vocals, as their strength lies more in guitar and rhythm work. they play GREAT together, which unfortunately doesn't come across quite as well on the cd as it does live (click track maybe?). my only complaint is that they are a little flat on the album -- they could have done the things they do (dynamics, rhythm changes) more aggressively and it would have been better.
overall a GREAT listen. a couple stand-out tracks, for sure (e.g. opening track), but the album is a great work as a whole, too.
