Album Notes
Morning doesn't really come_ always fixed in place
At the tangent furthest from the light upon the planet's face
Last night isn't ever gone_ only left behind
On the side away from Dawn_ both are but a state of mind

Sensibilities are curved_ on a turning sphere
If rotation is observed_ 'Alwaysness' is present here
For on this magic borderline_ Night and Day are one
Here they meet and intertwine_ never stopping, never done

Break-of-day is misconstrued with such occurrences
But once upon a longitude_ "When" is really "Where" it is
Never does the Sun obey my summons to appear
At this or any time of day, "When it is" is always "Here"

I'm the one who circulates and rises on the rim
To where the ends of separate dates mingle on the planet's limb
I will rise and follow through and set upon them both
Only length between the two is the time I call my growth

Long - in spite of knowledge of Astronomy and Math
It's still as if the sun comes up, spreading daylight in its path
But, in fact, this plot of land_ beneath my mortal feet
Has only just come 'round again_ to where last night and morning meet
