Crazy Things

by Jason Arnold and the Stepsiders

The Austin, TX band's second album delivers more of that trademark Stepsiders sound. From stone country shuffles to delicate waltzes, to twang for the sake of twang, it's all here.

ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Led by Austin-born songwriter Jason Arnold, the Stepsiders continue their reflections and refractions of the past on this, their second album, entitled Crazy Things. Although the band’s live set often trends strongly toward the familiar and traditional (the better to keep dancers moving around the floor), this album, like the previous, allows the band to stretch its legs here and there. In addition to hard country originals that sound straight out of 1962, the Stepsiders have included a few selections that were just plain fun to record. Hope you enjoy them just as much. Thanks for supporting authenticity.
