Album Notes
The debut recording by bass player Jason Hollar was recorded at Colorado Sound Studio in Denver (Westminster), engineered by Steve Avedis, originally released in 2003 to CD, and remastered by Fred Pellegrini. The amazing band features musicians of depth and quality which contributed to the maturity and spontaneity throughout the sessions. The incredible pianist Eric Gunnison (Carmen McRae, Convergence) brought a masterful sense of composition and improvisation to the arrangements. The ultra in-demand drummer, Mark Raynes brought a seasoned professionalism and way-steady groove to the project. Sax and reed-man Andrew Vogt was sensational with his melodic inventions and contributed four compelling original works to the project.
