Album Notes
You can feel it - not only hear it, but feel it. Whether it's the craziness of kickin' up your heels at a honky-tonk on Saturday night, or the pain of letting go of something you love, the music of Jason Howard captures an audience and makes them feel the experience of the song.

Packed with imagery and emotion, Jason Howard's music fuses the style and swing of traditional country with the drive and excitement of today's contemporary styles. Add a hint of the raw, no-nonsense approach of the blues, and you have one of the freshest, most irresistible forms of country music available.

Jason Howard was raised on a small ranch in Spanaway, Washington. He got his first guitar at age ten and began teaching himself how to play by picking along with the radio. He formed his first band at fifteen and sharpened his performance skills through high school and college. Leading a number of different groups, he has worked every type of crowd from the smallest one-room taverns, to state fairs, to large concert audiences. He has worked with such artists as Chris LeDoux, Grand Ole Opry stars Riders In The Sky, And Tommy Cash. Creating energetic shows, his main goal at every performance is to leave his audience wanting more.

In 1992, Jason set his sights on Nashville and began planning his move. He arrived in Nashville in November of 1993. He has honed his skill as a songwriter and is a regularly featured performer at such venues as the world famous Bluebird Cafe, The Hard Rock Cafe, and the Ernest Tubb Record Shop's Midnite Jamboree on WSM Radio in Nashville. As a demo vocalist, and has worked for songwriters such as Steve Seskin, Michael Johnson, Randy Bachman, Jim Peterik, and Tim Bays. As a guitarist and vocalist, he has been a part of opening acts for headliners such as John Michael Montgomery, Montgomery Gentry, Chely Wright, The Marshall Tucker Band, and Diamond Rio. Additionally, he has been a featured guest on the Nashville television show Mornings On Fox with Charlie Chase and Kelly Sutton. In 2003, he released his first single, "The Reunion (A Tribute to June Carter Cash and Johnny Cash)", which received international airplay. In 2004, the song was also featured in Tommy Cash’s 2004 tribute show, “My Brother John”. In November of 2006, he released his debut album "Trouble With Angels" on Realtwang Records.

Great traditional country
It is great to hear real country in the age of 80's rock for #1 country hits. This proves that it can be modern and still be traditional. Thanks for staying country Jason. (Love the shuffles).

really enjoy the wide range of your music
today it is very hard to find traditional country that is original and is easy to dance to, your music covers both of these areas.
Look forward to future releases
