ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
With an Independent Music Award nomination and four acclaimed albums of country tinged songwriter craft to his credit, McNiff recruits the talents of some of the Uk's finest in the Lone Malones.
Basia Bartz, emigre from Poland, master of Celtic infused Americana stylings, plays fiddle throughout. John Nicholls plays bass and takes the Producer's chair, coaxing performances, deciding on microphones while Neil Marsh brings the beat and rhythm.
Recorded first in London's foggy East End at Soup Studios, and later at Jools Holland's Humber Studios in Greenwich, 'God Knows Why We Dream' presents 13 brand new original songs of great variation from thought provoking lyric ballads through cajun pop and T Bone Burnette styled alt. country.
