ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
SONGWRITERS: Alex Stuart, ASCAP, writes lyrics only; does not sing, nor play an instrument. Raised in Kentucky, he graduated with a degree in architecture from the University of Oklahoma and was a big band jazz fan. He moved his family to Arizona and still makes his home there. Twenty years ago, he became interested in writing country lyrics and learned that he needed someone to put his lyrics to music. He thinks he found the right person:
Jay Vernali has been active on Music Row in Nashville for over thirty years as a composer, pianist, recording engineer and has been involved with the Nashville jazz scene and the Nashville Ballet.
RECORDING: All of Alex Stuart's songs have been recorded at Jay's Place Recording, Nashville, using the best available session musicians.
PUBLISHING: Alex Stuart does his own publishing under the name of Under Your Skin Music ASCAP
