Album Notes
Jauqo III-X, the bassist who gave us the Low C#
string and the the world's first 15-string (5x3)
electric bass guitar now brings us his long
awaited debut CD called "The Low C# Theory."
An eclectic kaleidescope of heavy bass groove-
oriented music that introduces to the world
guitarist Kudzai Kasambira and 9-string
guitarist DaLawn Simpson. Jauqo's rhythm mate
is legendary guitarist Al Dimeola's drummer,
Ernie Adams. If you're open-minded enough to
venture into the uncharted realms of groove,
high octane melodic texture manipulation,110%
improvisation and the spirit of life in the
music you listen to, then this CD will not
disappoint.Throughout the entire CD, Jauqo utilizes
his fretless subcontra bass (tuned Low C# F# B E),
never abandoning the groove, only reminding the
listener of the role that the Bass really plays, from
the most subtle setting to the all-out assault
on the music's sonic spectrum overall.

Sounds to me as if I Just walked into Guitar Center on a Saturday morning... That about sums it up.
