Album Notes
Pumping, Bass Driven, Lyrical, Theatrical, Sexy, Rock / Pop Anthem - A revered Jayl composition from 1992, that really got him noticed in the underground music scene. Particularly in Gloucestershire - where throughout 1992-93 as THE JAYL BAND, the song was gigged all over the county and beyond, to packed audiences. This was essentially the band's first recording in preparation for the band going live a fantastic team - Jayl on Vocals and Lyrics, Tim Buckmaster on Guitar, Gerry White on Bass, Steve Trigg on Keyboards and Production, Andy Gilliams on Percussion and Terry McKenzie on Backing Vocals.
The whole band sang "WE CAN DO IT!" The main anthem lyric and this became the mantra for the band. The song attracted serious attention from Big Life records at the time and Jayl had a couple of meetings with the company with a view to signing a major deal. Through a series of twists and turns, the deal never transpired - much to Jayl's consternation at the time. However, the song led to Jayl being able to turn professional and going on to form his own Harmony Label and Harmony School.
The song is raunchy and up front and truly reflects Jayl's energy and passion, which are still alive and kicking today, as they were back then!
