Don't You Wish (feat. Tomoko Ohno)

by Jay Leonhart

I am a bass player who writes and sings songs about stuff that interests me-the music world, the bass violin and interesting events that I like to think about and sing about. There is an element of humor in my songs.

Album Notes
I am a jazz bassist with interests that roam far and wide. The words and music on this CD reflect my state of mind about the world and all kinds of other stuff. Things that happened or that I imagined happened. Actually, most of my songs are autobiographical.
On this CD I am joined by the very talented Tomoko Ohno on piano. Her playing is exquisite.
I have gotten nice reviews for my songs over the last forty years and I will spare you the actual quotes. You will just have to trust me.
I suggest you listen to the Title track, "Don't You Wish". It will give you a good taste of what our album is about.

I hope you enjoy it.
