ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Jazzville has enjoyed swinging American Jazz standards at the Grove Park Inn, the Biltmore Estate, Asheville Ballroom, White Horse of Black Mountain and the Altamont Theater of Asheville, North Carolina. The band’s affinity for American music from the 1920’s to 1940′s has resulted in several additional invitations.

Bronwyn Cronin’s voice has graced venues as magnificent as the Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris, France as well as obscure villages in Nepal and India. Although classically trained in Opera with the late Gimi Beni, the singer feels most at home swinging to the familiar melodies of the traditional American songbook. “I enjoy the and spontaneity & creative outlet found in improvisation.”

During Bill’s six decades as a percussionist, the artist has entertained a president, multiple celebrities, and even astronauts. The drummer was nominated for a Grammy, for his contribution to “Beauty and the Beast.” Mr. Berg has been in the studio with talents like Bob Dylan and Cat Stevens. He co-founded the 80’s-90’s fusion group, Flim & the BB’s. While living in Los Angeles, Bill worked with some of West Coast’s best jazz artists including Howard Roberts, Ernie Watts, Bill Perkins, Ben Sidran and the Wayne Johnson Trio.

Jazzville's bassist, Zack Page, has been performing as a professional bassist since the early ’90s. His work with various jazz ensembles, theater companies, and the cruise industry has taken him to all 50 U.S. States, the Caribbean islands, Australia, South America, Europe and the Far East.

Their pianist, Patrick Boland, happily teaches and composes in his studio overlooking the Swannanoa River and occasionally performs in the area. One of his main focuses today is co-writing with his wife the children’s audio adventure series, “Adventures in Sonoris.”

You can hear Jazzville play live in their hometown of Asheville, North Carolina.
