Way off the radar but close to space.
JB Relellion music is dj cutey with Mr Sax bellowing and be-boppin dowm da alley ways. Can you feel this west coaster's funk-a-thon fellas? Rock with these cool grooves and enjoy some merlot's after yo pocket rocket looses its nerve? Just make me more of this beautiful vibes baby!!Have mercy and surrender the funk. I might let you have me pink too pops? Aaahh yah??

We liked the CD very well. It is a keeper.
We liked quite well most of the songs on the CD which we thought had a somewhat "Jimmy Smith sound." A few other segments seemed to have a more "novelty-like" sound that we enjoyed to a lesser extent. Overall, we will keep it in our collection and play it many times.

Modern jazz FUNK...get your gravy here too!!
Hey Real Quick folks. Joel Bowers is a seasoned Sax-cat.His jazz works are impressive.Likely,he benefits from gigging with other pros. Especially 20th Congress founder and organ orgiest, Robert Walter.Robert adds bite on one amazing solo. The drummer Arran is also an ex-20th Congress lion. That being said this discs works even with the dj scratches on 2 songs. Traditionalists would be doubled over in the corner...but Bowers bucks up and keeps a lid on the engineering touches. Yep...these guys have energy and stamina. No purple pills required doctor. Bowers Rebellion CD has it all people. San Francisco funk mixed in with classic cuts. Drums are pretty damn cool for the record. This little gem will round out even ole Mildred's cd collection!
