ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Jonny Classic appeared on earth in 1978. He has been looking for lost melodies ever since. He was discovered beeping on the floor of a Radio Shack bathroom by Gruvis Malt singer Brendan Bell. Together , they composed some new and exciting Pop Music for some new and exciting people. Give him a chance to change your life, even for a fleeting moment. And buy some art while you're at it, babies need formula.

There is no way you've heard anything like this.
This is by far the most original music I've ever heard. Ever. I'm a music lover - I consider myself pretty informed in underground music, but when I found this album (and subsequently the Gruvis Malt school of musicians associated with it) I realized I'd been completely sleeping. Do not confuse this with the trendy 8-bit Nintendo music that's all the rage - this is serious, dense, pop. The kind where you listen to it 100 times and don't get bored. The kind you sing forever.
