Album Notes
I put together a group of songs that are full of the music that influenced me. After years of playing many different styles, I found that these influences permeated my own style. I let the songs grow organically and become what they wanted to be. I played a variety of instruments and sang all the lead and harmony parts. It was definetly a labor of love. I have to thank my good friend and producer Bill Prose for letting me indulge my musical fantasies.

Simmer Down - Seasoned
'Simmer Down' is a polished debut album by J Christopher, a Telecaster journeyman that has been professionally gigging in and around East Saint Louis, Illinois for decades. I fondly remember seeing his J Christopher Blues Band at the Beneath Society Club in the 1960's ... and he is still burning today with his 'World's Most Dangerous One Man Band' ... this tasty CD is called 'Simmer Down' ... but I hope, J Christopher, this seasoned performer, never will !!
