ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Judy Domeny Bowen is a folk musician, songwriter, and a longtime elementary school teacher.

She knows firsthand the joys and frustrations of being an educator.

Judy has turned her observations of life in the education fast lane into hilarious songs you are sure to enjoy! Teachers roar with laughter when they hear songs about happy snow days, dreaded faculty meetings, excuses to use when arriving late to school, and the ever-present temptation of food in the workroom.

"That's me! That's me!" they exclaim as Judy sings of the February Teacher Blues, of the million responsibilities teachers deal with daily, and of the love teachers have for their students.

Every teacher you know needs a copy of Teacher Therapy! Teachers of all grade levels and subjects will also love Judy's brand new CD TEACHER OF THE YEAR! Check it out here at CD Baby.com.

Teacher Therapy is an amusing collections of songs.
Teacher Therapy is an amusing collection of songs. I played "So You Want to Be a Teacher" before our Literacy Team meeting last week. The teachers thought it was hysterical. I can't wait to play "Teacher Stampede" in December. The songs make us laugh which is a good thing!

How True!
I laughed, I cried, and realized that all teachers are alike! "Teacher Therapy" is just what the title implies--a pick-me-up that makes us see that wherever you teach, all teachers experience the same joys, frustrations, and sadnesses. Keep up the good work Judy!

I don't think I've ever seen my 30 years of teaching flash so vividly before my eyes as I did listening to your CD. KUDO's to you for a FANTASTIC JOB!

a teacher that needed a lift!

I can't stop laughing!
I was online looking for some sort of teacher therapy poems or funny teacher stories to read when I found the sample songs of "Teacher Therapy". I listened to the 4 samples over and over again until my cd came in the mail. It came just in time to play for my grade level team on a teacher work day!

We loved it.
I and my fellow teachers loved the CD -- especially the Schoolteacher Stampede. We can't wait to play it at our director's retirement that is coming up.

True and honest views of teaching
This CD is chock full of wonderful and funny songs that paint a true and honest picture of what being a teacher means. Ms Bowen's observations on teaching are full of the daily events and situations that make up a typical day of teaching, from the blahs of February to the stampead to the teachers' lounge for Christmas-time goodies. And the last song will renew any teacher's flaging spirits when they encounter their own 'Brandon'. What a gem! As a retired teacher, I recommend this album to any person entering the profession and to any 'old-timer' who wants a smile in his/her day.

Our teachers really appreciate the humor and insightfulness of this music!
I shared this CD with our principal and she loved it. As a matter of fact, she is playing one or two songs at every faculty meeting this year! She started yesterday and the teachers were nodding their heads and laughing in agreement as they recognized themselves and their colleagues' daily rituals. Several asked about purchasing it for themselves! Thanks for a humorous and insightful look at our jobs!

An audience of 80+ teachers at an In-Service were laughing hysterically as we all saw ourselves in these delightful songs about the world we live in each day. . . the classroom world.

I love this CD. It arrived very quickly and in excellent condition. What I really like about this cd is that it gives someone like myself who wants to go into the teaching profession an insite about what teachers experience in the classroom and combines it with humor. What a great CD.
