ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Hi!

I love the music, and I don’t remember when this love began but I’m really sure that this love grows a little more day after day. I’ve been performing music with keyboards for more than twenty-five years, and here I present my last fourteen compositions that I’ve been working on during the last three years.

Many musicians from jazz and smooth jazz, but also from pop, new age and alternative music are the main references I’ve been enjoying for years: Marcus Miller, Philippe Saisse, George Duke, George Benson, Joe Sample, Stanley Clarke, Pat Metheny, Everette Harp, Paul Jackson Jr., Nelson Rangel, Art Porter, Eric Marienthal, David Sanborn, Brecker Brothers, Bill Evans, Jeff Lorber, Quincy Jones, Patti Austin, Rachelle Ferrell, Brenda Russell, Stevie Wonder, David Foster, Jay Graydon, David Benoit, Chuck Loeb, Kenny G, Jan Hammer, Jeff Kashiwa, Marc Antoine, Michael Franks, Nick Kershaw, El Debarge, Level 42, Earth Wind & Fire, Kool & The Gang, Michael Jakson, Aha, Pet Shop Boys, Christopher Cross, Duran Duran, Thomson Twins, Spandau Ballet, Aztec Camera, Steve Windwood, Simply Red, Presuntos implicados, Alejandro Sanz, Celine Dion, The cors, Patrick O’Hearn, Ray Lynch, Suzanne Ciani, Lito Vitale, Yanni, Nightnoise, David Anthony Clarke, Klaus Schonning, Noa, Barbara Straisand, Francis Cabrel, and many more... They all are the main reason I’ve discovered a myriad of subtle nuances in music and also a huge passion for music and life.

Every melody and every song that comes out to me represents a light of life that boosts and spreads my heart through new dimensions, while makes me feel Goodness, Peace, Hope and Love. I only pretend to show you my vision of these precious values through a little piece of me that you'll find in my music.

“Is when I close my eyes and I focus on my ears that I can see the infinite of my soul through my heart”

I hope you enjoy!

JeanC
