Ain't No Goin' Back
Jed Marum is a very talented troubador, with great versatility. This is a very enjoyable little album, and leaves you feeling really good. The first song (Banjoes) is a surprising toe-tapper, the second (title song) is a nice, gentle ballad with lots of personality, the 3rd (Yankee in Texas) is a funny "talking song", and the last 2 are beautifully arranged instrumentals with a wonderfully balanced variety of instruments. These last 2 are also available with the full vocals on the new album "Sands of Aberdeen". I always enjoy Jed's work, but this is one sweet little offering! I recommend it.
