This is the Jeff Benedict Big Big Band's first CD on Tapestry Records entitled “Holmes,” which features original tunes by Jeff Benedict, David Caffey and Paul McKee along with fresh arrangements of music by Pat Metheny, Michael Brecker, Josef Zawinul and Sting. Musicians in the band come from all over Southern California as well as New York, Chicago, Denver and San Antonio. They are Jeff Benedict, Adrian Williams, Jeff Ellwood, Ken Foerch, Charlie Richard, Saxophone; Steve Hawk, Jeff Jarvis, Tom Tallman and Frank Rico, trumpet; Paul McKee, Jacques Voyemant, Otto Granillo and Jerry Amoury, Trombone; Matt Harris, Piano; Dave Askren, Guitar; Tim Emmons, Bass and Paul Romaine, Drums.
