ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
jeff lawrence first release was an all acoustic instumental album, lost in a song,he added vocals, this is his third release.he is now a guitar, bass, mandolin, banjo, dulcimer instructor at the park city music conservatory,an upscale school in the ski town of park city.he just got off the road doing a five concert stint with dicky betts of the allman bros. as second guitarist, filling in until the main man gets back.
the guitar on this album is phenominal, the vocals take some getting used to,jeff does his vocals in one take and most of these songs were going to be sung by other vocalist but funds were short but the guitar alone is worth buying the cd.jeff also plays bass and percussion on the cd,although phillip howell formely of shovelhead ,currently with the wreckoning(both with cds on this sight)lends his bass talents on a couple tracks.scott fox plays drums on a few tracks, the band jerico standing joins jeff on two songs and charles densford of the same band does most of the drumming.
if you like robert earl keen or john fogerty singing over jimi hendrix, jimmy page and steve vai, zappa type guitar riffs you will love this cd but don't get to comfortable because most of jeffs cds are completly different from each other, some being metal, country, blues, jazz acoustic, instumental,so if you don't like this cd,check out his six others on this sight or in the band shovelhead from atlanta.
