Album Notes
All instruments performed, recorded, mixed, mastered by Jeff Miller.

"This was re-mixed & remastered in November, 2010. Some of the original demo tracks were kept (drums, bass, moog), and some were re-recorded in Oct 2010 (guitars, some keyboards, fx)."

"This was written in the mid '90's, around the time of From The Toybox (Simon Apple album). There's a demo with John Feldmann (singer on From The Toybox) singing this song, so a lyric and vocal melody was at least mostly completed - if not entirely... probably not tweaked. But, like other songs, it simply didn't fit with what we were doing at the time. So, on the shelf it went! Only now to be dug out 10-15 years later. The reason I've dug this, and others, out, is to simply have nice instrumental recordings of these once and for all, before they fall off my radar and are forgotten forever."

"While I don't write a lot of 'dark' material, I certainly enjoy delving into that once in a while. I always liked the mood and atmosphere created on this one. Later era Pink Floyd was probably an influence at the inception of writing this song....the moog synth solo was sort of a nod to the Floyd's "Animals". The newly recorded guitar solo is in the David Gilmour/Steve Hackett mode... 2 of my all-time favorite guitarists."

Jeff Miller is a founding member of the band, Simon Apple, where he serves as a primary composer, keyboardist, guitarist, and producer. Simon Apple charted several songs in the U.S. Adult Contemporary Top 40. Jeff has performed with Grammy-winning and multi-platinum artists, and has played small intimate venues, 65,000 seat stadiums, and everything in between. Jeff also has several sacred choral songs published worldwide, and has written music for television (NBC, HBO, MTV, etc).
