Album Notes
A very special evening of Jeff's original music recorded "unplugged" and all acoustic before an intimate audience at Atlanta, Georgia's prominent acoustic listening room, The Red Light Café.

With original musical stylings reminiscent to artists such as Karla Bonoff, David Gates, Dan Fogelberg, Kenny Loggins, James Taylor and John Denver, "Live" at The Red Light Cafe is Jeff's third solo release.

It is considered by many people who own it to be one of the finest "live", acoustic, easy listening albums they have ever heard and to be Jeff's finest work to date.

Koney and Jeff unplugged. Acoustic Rock at it's best.
The version of "Midwinter Wind," has very powerful instrumental elements. "Cosmic Chestnut Mare," is a song full of imagery that seems to be like a storybook song. "Young Hearts," is a song that can not go wrong. This song is so strong that one wonders if the earlier collection that featured the song should have been entitled, "Young Hearts." This version is honest and simple. "Good Morning Alabama," seems to be fitting for Jeff given all of his work with Jimmy Buffett music. This song is comparable to Buffett's early acoustic folk songs. It also has elements of Mac McAnally's music.

If you like acoustic-based music like James Taylor, Dan Fogelberg, or John Denver...than you will get a lot out of this album. Sometimes all you need is a guitarist and a bassist. With Jeff Pike and Koney Ferrell, a recipe for soft rock euphoria is achieved.
