ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
I spent about three years studying the technique of some of the great guitar players - such as Tommy Emmanuel, Ed Gerhard, and Adam Rafferty, to name a few. During this time, I wasn't really inspired to write much and even though I managed to contribute a few of my own tunes to this CD, the majority are covers - most of which are songs by Tommy Emmanuel. After years of practicing I realized I'd better record these wonderful tunes or would most likely forget them! Having "The Star Spangled Banner" as the lead cut would be fairly unique - maybe for two minutes and sixteen seconds people might feel obligated to listen to my music.

String Theories represents my lifetime love for the acoustic guitar and all of its fingerstyling wonder. I hope you enjoy listening as much as I enjoy playing these songs.
