Album Notes
Jeff Thomas, Las Vegas "Entertainer of the Year" 1986, performs his classic hit, "(Don't Try To Lay No Boogie Woogie On The) King Of Rock and Roll." Back up vocals are by the "Raylettes," featuring Gloria Jones and Clydie King, recorded in Hollywood CA in 1969. Long John Baldry learned the song from this original recording. Jeff wrote and recorded this song at Continental Studios in 1969. The public has never heard this rendition.

King of Cool
What a hot singer! Would love to see him performing live, ala Tony Bennett. I've found all of his records by Googling and I wish there were more. Love his rendition of Jimmy Webb's "I Keep It Hid" which is absolutely 'dreamy.'
