Album Notes
Jen Houston is a singer/songwriter as well as an actress and voice over artist. You've probably heard her voice of television for years, mostly as you've left the tv room to get another beer while the commercials played. She has sung with several bands in NYC including Nanapeg , The Rice Miller Band, and His Boy Elroy, She's had a varied career thus far which includes being a professional dancer as well as singer in a variety of theatrical venues. She also owned and operated a popular bakery in NYC called This Chick Bakes which she started in 2002 and sold in 2013. She was also a producer on the motion picture Married and Counting for which she wrote the theme song. I Was Told There Would Be Pie is her second solo album, following West 83rd which was released in 2008.
