ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Jen Johnson exudes sweet emotion!

Jen combines the confessional aesthetic of the singer/songwriter tradition with the immediate fervor of alternative rock to create "stick in your head" melodies that you can't resist.

Akin to such artists as Juliana Hatfield, Tanya Donelly, and The Sundays, Jen's bittersweet and plaintive compositions emerge with a strong identity and sense of purpose.

Currently making inroads on the East Coast music scene, this California native's words and music are soulful, heartfelt, and vibrant.

Clever lyrics with pleasant music
Johnson has some very clever lyrics with inoffensive music. Very much in the style of Lisa Loeb. While the CD's other three songs fail to live up to its title track they all indicate exceptional talent and potential. If only the CD were longer.
