Album Notes
Jennifer Bernstone, a small-town, Iowa native moved to New York City to pursue a career in the performing arts. The past decade was filled with touring and regional theater of plays and musicals. She is currently booking her one-woman musical cabarets around the country. Earlier this year she performed her various one-woman shows and concerts aboard the Seabourn Legend, was the lead in the full-length film Fertility Drug, voice for the lead character, Isis, in the comic strip film Batallia- Torn Halo, choreographed the off-bway play "The Screwtape Letters" and performed Johanna in "Sweeney Todd". Other credits: Guenevere in "Camelot", Grace in "Annie", JoAnn in "Vanities", Lina Lamont in "Singin' In the Rain", Nurse Hatchet in the children's superhero movie "Black Cougar", principal dancer in Co'Motion Dance Company and recorded the lead vocals for the new musical "Conundrum".

Jennifer's interest in singing began at a very early age. She claims her desire to sing prompted her ability to read words, "I wanted to sing the hymns in church, but not knowing the words made that difficult." She sang in the choirs at school and was also accepted two summers to tour with what is now known as Celebration Iowa, a high school touring production of the 'cream of the crop' of Iowa's musically gifted teenagers. Her desire to perform was enhanced by attending Luther College and majoring in pre-med. This initial denial of her true talents only added flame to the fire once she switched to earn a theater-dance degree.

Jennifer graduated and went onto dance with Co'Motion Dance Company for a couple of seasons before moving to NYC where she still resides. In addition to her love for singing, dancing, acting and overall performing, Jennifer enjoys journaling, baking, walking and traveling as much as possible.

A note from Jennifer:
My goal with the song selection of "Traveling This World" was to entertain and intrigue. I feel it represents many different aspects of my personality and hopefully, my 'quirkiness' (as Michael, my accompanist and friend puts it) helps create the mood of whatever 'This World' is to you. Many blessings on your travels!

What a beautiful voice! Jennifer has that star quality in which she can take any song and give it her own unique interpretation. Remember her name, we will be hearing a lot from her in the future!

Her voice is just so pure and so powerful. There is no way to explain it. One of the very few women vocal artists that can actually make me tear up from listening to the songs.

Loved the CD Have listened to it 3 time already
CD arrived in record time which was a definite positive. I have been able to enjoy it sooner than I expected. Recording of all the songs is very nicely done.
