Album Notes
Jennifer Catlin, M.S., C.Ht., is a teacher of mindfulness meditation, yoga and a certified advanced hypnotherapist. She is a contributing author to LightWorkers World, holds a M.S. in School Psychology and completed the Duke Integrative Medicine Mindfulness Training for Professionals. She is a member of the International Association of Counselors and Therapists and a member of The Newton Institute for Life Between Lives Hypnotherapy. Jennifer maintains a private practice in Cary, NC, offers long distance mindfulness consultations and teaches public and professional workshops in NC and abroad.

Through her own difficulties in working with fear, anxiety and other life challenges, Jennifer experienced the profound and life changing effects of mindfulness meditation and hypnotherapy and it is her passion to share this process with others. The focus of Jennifer's work is in cultivating self compassion and living a mindful life. Though we all face challenges and unpleasant experiences, Jennifer has discovered the means of finding peace and presence in life.

Her approach is one that addresses the whole person in body, mind and spirit. She believes that each individual holds the answers needed for healing and change within and simply guides her clients to discover their own innate ability and wisdom. As she was guided to heal on a personal level, she realized how essential compassion and love for self is – not from a place of ego but rather, true self care. Compassion and kindness toward self are key components to her teachings and practices.

Jennifer was raised in the suburbs of Syracuse, NY and currently resides in Holly Springs, NC. She has two cats and adores animals of all kinds. She also fosters pets through her county animal center. She is a mom of two and understands the delicate balance of parenting duties with other aspects of life. When she is not spending time with her family or working, other interests include reading, writing, listening to and playing music, hiking, kayaking, camping, watching musical theater shows, farmer’s markets, laughing and engaging in any type of creative process. She holds much gratitude for life and encourages all to seek their individual paths with authenticity. Her message to you is: "Allow your inner light to shine."

The practice of mindfulness is one that is available to you in every moment. This cd supports your practice, whether you are just learning about mindfulness or are an experienced practitioner. Each track consists of a guided meditation, 17-20 minutes long with ample quiet space provided to drop in to your own center.
