ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
The blend of uplifing music and Jenn's soulful voice makes for a truly unique sound. Jennifer Duretz Peled's music is sung in English, Hebrew, and Ladino including hints of folk, techno, opera, rock, middle-eastern, and hip-hop in order to reach a multitude of people with varied musical tastes. Jenn uses some of Judaism's most ancient texts as well as modern lyrics in order to help bring people to a meaningful and relevant Judaism. Jenn's music does not fall into any one particular musical genre. If you like Barbara Streisand, Achinoam Nini (NOA), Lady Gaga, Sarit Hadad, Joni Mitchell, Neshama Carlebach, Pink, Shefa Gold, and/or Idina Menzel then you will love Jenn's new CD as it weaves together many musical styles.

Jenn is an invested cantor who has worked in a variety of settings including summer camps, synagogues, churches, retreats and with youth groups (NFTY, Noar Hadash, BBYO & USY). She considers herself blessed to be doing work for which she truly feels passionate.
