Tidings of Christmas, THE BEST!!!
For years, I've collected Christmas CD's and I play them over and over every holiday season. Jennifer Graf's "Tidings of Christmas" is my new FAVORITE. There is something magical about her lyrical interpretation of the holiday classics that make it seem like she's singing just for me and my family right in my living room. Her voice is absolutely beautiful. So clear, so lovely. We play it over and over again. Each year, the grandchildren look forward to hearing music on Christmas morning. "Tidings of Christmas" will now be now part of our Christmas tradition.

Tidings of Christmas, A REAL FIND AND JOY!
I loved Jennifer Graf's "Tidings of Christmas." Her singing is beautiful. Her selection of well known holiday standards and less familiar songs is delightfully refreshing and sets the perfect mood for decorating the tree, wrapping presents and Christmas morning breakfast. If you are tired of holiday releases by well known pop singers that leave you flat, do yourself a favor and listen to Jen Graf. You will be delighted. She is a true artist.

Possesses a soprano with fragile clarity, but enough muscle to convey confidence
Jennifer Graf's Tidings of Christmas showcases her classically-trained soprano on 16 traditional carols. A professional vocalist who favors both opera and holiday caroling, Graf is a woman after my own heart. She possesses a soprano with fragile clarity, but enough muscle to convey confidence and emotional commitment throughout. Her light, well-controlled vibrato adds depth, and the minimalist piano accompaniment provides a classy focus on her vocals.

The album opens well with an a cappella bar of In the Bleak Midwinter, one of my favorites; as the piece continues, Graf's vocal and Terry Musselman's piano nicely build both in volume and intensity. Graf's voice is especially lovely on the melancholy Coventry Carol and the nicely-phrased What Child Is This?, but the best track is the all-too-brief Es ist ein Ros' entsprungen, which presents a cappella harmonies (with Graf apparently on both parts). In the middle, the album mixes the mood with jazzy interpretations of Christmas Time Is Here and God Rest Ye Merry, Gentlemen.

Tidings of Christmas is a solid holiday offering, especially for those who want to share their living rooms with a talented soprano this Christmas. Invite Jennifer Graf in for a hot cocoa, and she may reward you with sweet seasonal renditions.

Just Beautiful
I own dozens of Christmas albums and this one has quickly become one of my favorites. Jen's voice is crystal clear and the piano accompaniment is simple and elegant. The song selection is wonderful with many personal touches in the arrangements. I was so pleased with this album, in fact, that I went out and bought 8 more to give as gifts. This is one that will warm any home at Christmas time.

If you truly care about your friends and family during the holiday season, then you want to buy this CD for them. They will thank you over and over again. Jennifer's vocals are crisp, clear and full of intensity. You won't be disapointed.
