Album Notes
When I was young I listened to Bing Crosby's "White Christmas" on repeat every year. These originals and covers are dedicated to the vintage jazz Christmas era of the 30's, 40's and 50's. With big band sound and intimate piano duo's, this is the perfect album for your Christmas play list.

Jen Salisbury is my friend. She is a warm, caring person, filled with empathy and a kind of contagious energy. She is also a singer with a very special affinity to vintage jazz, an inherent sense of swing and a very characteristic vibrato. She has been demonstrating all these qualities singing standards with her trio for a few years now, but it was when she presented herself as a songwriter – with Unspoken Rule – that she got to really blossom. Now she has her Christmas EP ready – which further establishes her songwriting qualities and commitment to creating a songbook all of her own. Nikos Fotakis - Australian Jazz Net

Brand New Vintage Album - classic songs and some new ones destined to be classic
Amazing collection of songs, some originals, some classics. Has the feel of a vintage album. The originals like "Do You Love Christmas" could become new classics - they get better each time you listen, and you will want to listen a lot. The treatment of classics like "The Man With the Bag" bring new insight but the re-imagining of "O Come, O Ye Faithful" really stuns. This is a must for your Christmas playlist.
