Album Notes
As one of the members in the band A Sonic Sound Session, this 27 year old guy from Luleå, in the north of Sweden, has given you energy boozed guitar riffs and vocals of striking power. With the newly pressed EP Welcome to 1984, he has taken a musical journey of his own.

The melodies are catchy and Jens Wennberg's characteristic voice is strong and will leave no one unmoved. “Welcome to 1984” and “Jimmys Headache” are two strong tracks that brings the record to new dimensions. The EP includes 6 tracks, with a majority of acoustic guitars in harmony with critical lyrics.

- They say we've got freedom of speech, but it seems like that only counts if you've got the “right” opinion, he says.

The songs were recorded and produced by Stefan Sundström and most of the instruments are played by Jonathan Lundberg

In contrast to many of today's artists he ain't worried that his music will be downloaded on the internet. Contrary he only sees benefits.
- To whine about loss of sales and stuff, I leave to bands like Metallica to spend their time on. If someone put my songs on “the bay” I would be flattered. It just a sign of good judgment if people download my music.

//Thommy Johansson, Luleå
