ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
People who like Harry Manx, Paul Kelly, Sixto Rodriguez, Bruce Cockburn and Dylan, often relate well to Jeremiah Johnson.

This album was recorded live in Big Sister Studio over five days as a three piece band, later adding minimal over dubs. The music triumphs the adversity faced by the characters in each song. It was primarily influenced by Traditional Acoustic blues and folk. At times it seems obvious and other times less, so. The eclectic diversity of songs chosen for album, helps to narrate the reference that each song has its own personality.. Its own direction.

Like all well trodden songwriters, the gift of writing and performing, began at a young for Jeremiah Johnson. Evident with his uncharted ability to emotionally connect with listeners and capitalize on the exchange between player and audience.
