ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Labyrinthine is a music program inspired by the spiritual symbol of the labyrinth. The labyrinth can be a tool for spiritual growth, an allegory for life, or even the hero's tale. It is a journey of self-discovery with constant orientation towards the center; however the path to reach it is anything but straight-forward, and requires spiraling in every available space around it before finally reaching the journey's end. The original pieces of this program take you on this journey, ending with a meditation at the center of the labyrinth. With a little bonus waltz at the end.

The artwork for this album is an original piece of art that I created for Welcome Table Christian Church in Seattle, WA. The original is 20x20", and was completed with pen and marker. It shows the labyrinth overlaying the Flower of Life, another ancient symbol portraying the basic patterns of existence.
