Album Notes
Jeremy Wingfield is a singer/songwriter from Seattle, WA.

Jeremy Wingfield, a longtime supporting player in the Seattle indie music scene, is coming into his own with the March 4th release of his first full-length album. The Long Walk Home is a grouping of ten traditional hymns rearranged in Jeremy’s musically rich, genre-spanning style.

Jeremy’s music is best labelled “eclectic” — which is to say no label at all really applies. He cites diverse artists such as Johnny Cash, The Kinks, Queen and Tom Waits as his main musical influences. For Jeremy, the most important component of great music is that it tells a real story; it has to be relatable, raw, truthful, tangible. He wants his music to mean something so that listeners can connect it to their own lives and experiences.

The Long Walk Home extends the reach of hymns far beyond the walls of a church sanctuary. These exceptional arrangements of classic, well-known songs speak to the heart, mind, soul and body, tying together a multitude of genres including folk, country, bluegrass, rock ‘n roll and roots.

Jeremy is now working on his second album of self-penned originals, exploring new avenues of musicality and storytelling.
