Album Notes
Miller Time! is Jerry Miller's first all-instrumental CD, recorded live in the studio. Consisting of surf, blues, rock and roll, and country originals and covers, and featuring saxophonist Opal Fly, along with a standout rhythm section of drummer Tim Moore and Sam Finley on electric bass, with special guest Matt McConahay on upright acoustic bass.

Mr. Miller played all of the guitar parts using a 1999 Gretsch Round Up Reissue, a 1948 Gibson ES300 with 2 P90s, a 90's Fender Strat and a recent Fender Telecaster ...but not all at the same time. All were played through a MAD StageFright amplifier, courtesy of Mick Miller from Miller Amp Design.

Praise for Jerry Miller:

"Congratulations to our guitarist Jerry Miller for being named the Instrumentalist of the Year [2013] by the Freeform American Roots DJs (FAR)/3rd Coast Magazine & for being voted #3 in the Debut Album category ["New Road Under My Wheels"]! Way to go Jerry Glenn Miller! That guy puts the mental in instrumental."
-- Eilen Jewell website

"With his trusty Gretsch, [Miller] always adds the perfect flourishes and sounds without ever playing a wasted note, a master class in taste and what is often referred to as 'serving the song.'"
-- Todd Gunsher, No Depression

"Jerry Miller’s command of electric, acoustic, and steel guitars allows him to rock out or create spectral atmospherics as needed."
-- Steve Horowitz, PopMatters

"[D]eep, dark, delicious whammy-bar twang"
-- Greg Haymes, Times Union

Thanks Jerry for the mention of my Stage Fright. I made that puppy just for you and your killer tone. Album is simply amazing.
