Album Notes
With over 40 years paddling whitewater and flatwater in the US, Mexico and Canada and more canoes than he needs, Jerry is an established singer/songwriter from Nashville, Tennessee. He has had songs recorded by Tim McGraw, Gene Watson, Wild Rose, Lee Greenwood, Barbara Mandrell, The Oak Ridge Boys, Phil Vassar and Lonestar to name a few. Thanks to these artists, Jerry has songs on over 15 million records, two of which are hanging on the walls of the Country Music Hall of Fame.

Jerry has combined his music and paddling passions in the creation of this new CD entitled "True And Deep - Songs For The Heart Of The Paddler". These songs recorded with an all acoustic band features fun themes around "Camp Coffee", paddling into a "Headwind" (you're going the right direction!), reminiscing on favorite wilderness places like "Wabakimi" (with Grammy winning Native American recording artist Bill Miller on Native flute and an Ojibwe chant) to the wilderness ethic of "Leave No Trace" (a duet with CCMA Vocalist of the Year Victoria Banks).

You'll laugh, cry, dance and yearn for spring waters to thaw while listening to these songs and the acoustic guitars, fiddles, dobros, mandolin and banjos that accompany them.
