Album Notes
International performer, composer and recording artist Jesse Dean was born in Baltimore, MD, USA April 1, 1955. He began studying the clarinet at age 10 adding tenor saxophone at 16. Jesse was inspired by the great beebop era players like Charlier Parker, Earl Bostic and Benny Carter. He went on to earn his BA in Music at San Francisco State in 1981 where he studied classical saxophone with James Matherson, Jazz composition with Bennett Friedman and Jazz improvisation with jazz giant, John Handy. Jesse composes, performs and records his smooth jazz and contemporary relaxation mood music on the Open Window Productions LLC label.

Jesse Dean has performed across America, in Australia, the Carribean, Canada, China, Columbia, Czechoslovakia, England, France, Japan, New Zealand, Polynesia and Mexico.
