This is a song about a friend who got very, very ill and was just my way of saying to her to hold on, using just my guitar and voice, as I usually do.

Album Notes
I'm a sixteen year old singer/songwriter. I've been writing songs for years now, since I was around twelve I guess. I've been described as an old soul in a young body. I don't know how true that is, but I do know that I try to write songs that say something--about life, how good it can be, how hard it can be, love and loss, good times and hard times. I look at what's going on around me but also what's going on in the world, and try to interpret these things in my own way. I've got plenty of influences: the Beatles of course, thanks to my Mom and Dad, but they also turned me on to older singer/songwriters like Guy Clark, Townes Van Zandt, and a lot more. But I really like people like Frank Turner and, especially, Jason Isbell. All of them tell stories, and that's what I'm trying and learning to do. I get to perform live quite a bit--sometimes with my band of really good musicians, 'Jesse and Co.', most often solo. Mostly acoustic guitar, but electric when the tune and time calls for it. Finally recorded a few songs. If you hear them, hope you like them. Thanks, Jesse
