Album Notes
This album took longer than I expected to put together, mostly because I wanted to get better quality recordings, so various trips to Portland to record, plus the 3 songs I recorded in my own studio. The first song on the album Always Have To Say Goodbye was written fairly recently about a famous artist I know who recently acquired acclaim for his songs. I was thinking about him, and wanted to express myself in a song. It came out better than I expected, of course guitar is not my main musical instrument, and it's played on a classical guitar, but all in all, it's not bad. The last song on the album is in flute and is instrumental, Sometimes On A Whim, describes exactly what it is, and hopefully leaves the listener to expand their imagination to grow and do different and fun things. The artwork on the album is a painting I did and reflects one of my songs For Awhile into a different dimension, as well as Time Zone which is instrumental piano. I inverted the painting to give a more surreal look. My best material to date, I hope you get the chance to listen to it. Until the next album~ Jill Ledet
