Album Notes
Jim Carey's solo debut, Juliet Avenue, is a mix of roots rock n' roll songs and introspective mellow music. The Minnesota native had spent years writing the songs that make up Juliet Avenue while bouncing around and recording in other bands. In late 2001 he decided it was time to record a collection of his own work. Titled after the street he grew up on in St. Paul, Juliet Avenue is essentially one album in two parts. The first half being rootsy full band recordings, with the second half being thoughtful piano/vocal songs.
