ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
I was going to do a compilation of my Greatest Hits until I realized that I haven’t had any “Hits.” I considered doing a “Best of” album but then I imagined all the arguments about what was or wasn’t my “Best” work. I finally settled on Favorites. They may not be your favorites but they are mine. I included a couple of Western Writers of America Spur Winners, an Academy of Western Music Western Song of the Year, quite a few co-writes with some of my favorite collaborators and then a bunch of solo writes. I tried to keep it pretty much “Western,” or at least my version of Western but I did sneak in Borrowed Time as a Bonus Track because it’s one of my favorite songs that I’ve ever written. I hope you like the album and find a few favorites for yourself.
