Album Notes
In 2011, noted composer, producer, entertainer, and Atlanta Country Music Hall of Fame member Jim Lusk released his first album as an independent recording artist. This album resulted in Jim receiving the 2011 Atlanta Society Of Entertainers award for RECORDING ARTIST OF THE YEAR!!!! (Jim was also awarded the 2012 Atlanta Society of Entertainers "Lifetime Achievement" award, and the 2010 Atlanta Society of Entertainers award as “Songwriter of the Year.) The title song, “Rockin’ Away The Blues” reached NUMBER ONE on CMG’s Indie Music Network (www.cmgradio.info,) and FOUR other songs from the album made it to the NUMBER ONE - "Me Loving You," "Diesel Smoke and Lace," and "Counterfeit Cowboy," and "She Loved The Leaving Out Of Me."

Jim is back with his second album "(I Keep Thinking About) DIXIE" which includes FOUR songs that have already reached the coveted NUMBER ONE position. "Kiss It All Goodbye," "Yard Sale," "Cold, Alone and She's Gone," an the title song from the album "DIXIE." In 2009, Jim was honored by The Atlanta Country Music Hall of Fame with their highest award “The Dedication Award,” where the entire evening and awards ceremony was dedicated to Jim Lusk. The Atlanta Country Music Hall of Fame includes a “who’s who” list of artists such as Jack Greene, Bill Anderson, Brenda Lee, Ray Stevens, Pete Drake, Jerry Reed, Vern Gosdin, Martha Carson, Joe South, Junior Samples, Chet Atkins, Faron Young, Johnny Paycheck, and many others. He was also inducted into the Independent Country Music Hall of Fame in 2013, and was awarded the Atlanta Society of Entertainers "2013 Songwriter of the Year,"

Jim continues to write and produce other artists and has several number one productions to his credit, including duets with his duet/writer partner Kate Sharpe, as well as one by Helen Burke ("I want You Jesus," produced and written by Jim) and FOUR number ones' by the Hickory Wind Bluegrass Band
