Album Notes
Jim's musical career began at an early age. Music in his home was mainly bluegrass and country. Playing mostly at the family gatherings and an occasional garage bands, he developed a broad range of musical interests. He has always been drawn to music, especially the guitar. Jim has been on this musical journey for a while now and he is a product of all his experiences thus far in life. Therefore, his music is a culmination of those wonderful sounds he has listened to all those years.
Jim's has been influenced by many of his music heroes: The Beatles, The Eagles, Merle Haggard, Johnny Cash, Hank Williams, CSN, John Prine, Gordon Lightfoot, John Denver, John Hyatt, Jim Croce, Tim O’brien, Darrel Scott, Lester Flat, Earle Scruggs, Bill Monroe. The list is endless!!

His approach to writing a good song is simple, "Write about Life".
