No Jobs Out There

by Jimmi Ritz Reitzler

Ok I wrote this as a Protest type Song(the Title sort of says it all).I look at it as Art Rock (think what would happen if U2 and Bob Dylan got in a room together and wrote a song-maybe it would sound something like this). And once again its all me.Jimmi

Album Notes
Ok Lets talk about what Music I grew up with and still Love.First off The Beatles (Together and on there own they were like 4 sides of a coin-Front,Back,Left and Right). And when all 4 went Solo they did the same thing.2nd-Britpop/Rock bands like Badfinger,Mott the Hoople,T.Rex,Squeeze,ELO,The Rolling Stones,(Both D.Bowie and Joe Cocker-Yes I know there not a band but they were all ways in a band) and late U2 (this list could go on).Third American Rock Todd Rundgren,Tom Petty,Bruce,Tommy Bolin,Jimi Hendrix,Alice Cooper,Rick Derringer and Johnny & Edgar Winters. Then Last Folk/Rock and Punk Neal Young,Bob Dylan,The Byrds,MC5,The Ramones,The Clash and The New York Dolls.Add them all up and you would get me (or I think thats me).But it's Funny because all of these Bands would Steal a little from other bands to make there Sound but they would add them self in there Some where. And thats what I do.And thats what I've done with all the music that I've put out.Now About this song They Say you should write from your Heart and with this Song I really did(but in some of my music it falls in a 50/50 or Truth/Made up type thing). And I've Talked to alot of people that have gone thru the same type of thing. There are people all around the USA that at one time had great Jobs and they lived the American Dream then one day Everything Fell apart on them and the next thing they know they were living in a Car or a Tent or on the Street. So this Song is My way of Getting People to Open there Eyes. And Don't look down on Some one Just because they may live on the street. There Not Lazy-They may have just got a Bad Break in LIFE.Jimmi Ritz Reitzler
