This album was originally written as the thesis for my degree in Songwriting at Belmont University. It has been over 5 years in the making, and none of it would have been possible without the best band I've ever had, the most patient and passionate producer I've ever worked with, the support of my family, friends, and professors, and my incredible wife, the Helen to my Paris, to whom I owe so much inspiration, and to whom this album is dedicated. I'd also like to thank everyone else who helped along the way, especially Joseph Campbell for plotting the Hero's Journey, and, of course, the ancient Greeks, whose fertile imaginations and captivating mythology formed the soil from which this concept sprung. If you'd like to read the lyrics, or learn more about the myths behind the album and the process of its creation, visit Sound & ymmiJ or jimmykent.com, where you can download my thesis for free.
